2012 Top Coat Designs- From Christopher’s Custom

By October 22, 2012One Comment

Last week, we shared with you a few ideas that GQ chose from the recent NYC Fasion Runway shows as their favorites for this fall’s top coat choices.

From Canali to Deisel to Chris Paul (NBA) to Javier Bardem (Bon’d new nemesis)…the top coat of 2012 is shorter!

Today, I’d like to share with you a few of my detailed designs that take GQ’s concepts to the custom level…detailing five different color/pattern options with subtle button differences.

Click on the following link, then click on “view lookbooks” at the top of the gallery, and you will be able to scroll through my five top coat recommendations for anyone ready for a new outerwear piece this season!

With our custom designs, we can add a contrasting suede undercollar for some “pop”…especially when one wears their top coat with the collar up and utilizes our removable collar throat tab…made of the same color suede! Other details could include contrasting button holes, grosgrain trim at one’s working sleeve button holes, and dozens of spectacular inside lining trims packages!

If you are ready for a new top coat this season, whether you prefer off-the-rack or custom, consider this season’s shorter top coat styling…approximately 4 inches longer than your suit jacket…this will be perfect for when you wear a suit or sport coat…or over your favorite jeans!
