The Look of Flannel…Without The Weight!

By October 6, 2012No Comments

I’ve mentioned Flannel as one of this season’s favorite suit fabrics.  Flannel is still a great choice for anyone who enjoys a little more warmth during winter’s colder days.

Today, however, I’d like to share with you an interesting alternative to Flannel for those who are interested in the look of a “loftier” fabric…but prefer a cooler or more all-season alternative.

All-season weight silver glen plaid…in Italian milled Super 130’s cloth!

Note, in particular, the use of the silver glen plaid suit jacket as a sport coat when paired with the trouser from the black milled finish suit…and vice versa!  We love these double-combinations…this is a very efficient way to expand one’s wardrobe with two purchases (solid suit/patterned suit) rather than four purchases (two suits and two separate sport coats)!

Also note how we took a navy solid, detailed with a tan, bone button, tan button holes, and paired with two super autumn-colored trousers in a heather-finishes!
